Had a lovely time at this school presenting their prize for growing a fabulous 3,774g Jester. When asked what they thought their prize was, we had some great guesses: money, chocolate, the Queen, apple crumble and gold bars to name but a few, hope they enjoy spending their gardening vouchers.
South West – Loddon Primary School in Reading
2,400g of Jester
During my visit to Loddon Primary school, I was lucky enough to present their prize to pupils in the gardening club during their morning assembly. Not only are they fantastic gardeners, but they also have great singing voices. Well done everyone
Scotland (West) – New Lanark Primary School in Lanark
1,355g of Swift
Distance and timing meant I was unable to present this prize but thankfully Rob and Finlay from Caithness Potatoes were on hand and went along to do the honours.
Well done everyone, a great result.
