GYOP Kits Are on Their Way – Plus an Exciting Opportunity for Schools in Yorkshire!

Great news! Grow Your Own Potatoes (GYOP) kits are being packed and will be arriving at schools very soon. If yours hasn’t arrived yet, it won’t be long! We’ve carefully scheduled deliveries to ensure schools receive their kits in time to start chitting on 25th February, so keep an eye out for our distinctive new packaging.
If your school has ordered multiple kits, each one will be clearly labelled with the teacher’s name for easy distribution.
We are incredibly grateful to announce our wonderful sponsors for the 2025 Grow Your Own Potatoes (GYOP) project! A heartfelt thank you to Potato House, Edina Trust, Cygnet, IPM, McCain, Branston, E Park, Puffin, Cockerill, AKP, McCreight's Potatoes, and Wilson's Country.
Finally, a big thank you also to BASF for providing free wildflower seeds to help support pollinators and make school gardens even more vibrant!
Many of these amazing companies have supported us for several years, and their commitment to our mission is truly invaluable.
Without the generosity and support of these sponsors, GYOP simply wouldn’t be possible. Their contributions help us provide engaging educational experiences for students across the UK, fostering a love for growing food and an understanding of where it comes from. We are grateful to each and every one of our sponsors for believing in our vision and helping us make a difference. Thank you for your continued support! Find our more about our sponsors

Exciting Collaboration with McCain Foods

If your school is in or around this area, McCain are offering you the chance to welcome their staff directly into your classroom!
Imagine the excitement of having industry experts join you for your GYOP activities! They’ll provide hands-on support and share their extensive knowledge about food production and farming. This is a unique chance for your pupils to gain real-world insights and create unforgettable memories while learning where their food comes from. Don’t let this amazing opportunity pass you by!
Interested?
Just send us an email with your school name, postcode, and the best contact name and number. We’ll forward your details to McCain, and they’ll reach out to you directly.
